Beautiful, ain't she??

I was going to hand out resumes today, but something awful happened. I emailed them to my mother who was then going to print them and make a bunch of copies for me. When I saw them I saw this:
"I completed my OAC year at Assumption College School in Brantford Ont.
I was selected to be in the experimental grade 10 enrichment program.
I was have been an honour roll student.
I was the recipient of the Grade 11 award for French
I placed in the top 50 out of 300 students in a provincial wide French contest."

Ironic no? I am talking about all the smart things I have done and I make the most obvious grammatical error you have ever seen. So my mom (who was the one who edited to say that) has to go reprint them all. It originally said, "I have been...", she added the was.

Also last night I recieved the worst service at a restaurant ever! My mother, her boyfriend Harry, and I went out to a place in the Beaches called Whitlocks. When the man came to get our drink orders he took mom's, and Harry's and scurried off before he could take mine. He brought the drinks and wandered away. My mom had to get him back and say there was THREE people at the table. So I ordered my coke. He brought me a water... I mentioned I had ordered a coke. And I did get it eventually. Then we ordered meals. I had Pad Thai. It was yummy, but there was alot of it, so I asked to take it home. The guy clearing teh table said "no problem" and proceeded to pile the dishes ON TOP of the food that was to be taken home. Dessert came and went, and the bill came and I asked the waiter, "Where's the food I wanted to take home?" And he said to me, "You wanted to take it home?? We threw it out." My mother was unimpressed and said, "You threw it out?" and the waiter said, "Yes, its in the garbage."
We gave him a choice. He could remove my meal from the bill, because he did afterall throw it in the trash, or he could go make me half a portion of the meal I just ate for me to take home. So in the end the meal I took home was fresh. And yummy! But bad service. The food was great, but I would never go back there because of the service. Poo.
